Evergreen Middle School participated in the Trout in the Classroom (TIC) program. Teams of students raised rainbow trout from eggs to fingerlings in a cold-water aquarium. This was a unique opportunity to teach the relevance of watersheds and to use STEM skills. Our program culminated on April 24th with a release of 87 trout into the South Platte River.
